What’s the difference between highlighted and underline?
There seems to be a method to this technique
I have a few friends with ADD that find it extremely challenging to maintain focus for extended periods of time, making it difficult for them to read even a single chapter. So I will oftentimes highlight key passages or concepts that I want them to grasp before gifting them any book.
To anyone who has a friend with ADD and some extra time to spare, this approach can be an invaluable strategy.

What’s the difference between highlighted and underline?
There seems to be a method to this technique
Well here I wanted the main point to be that ‘money is a ledger’ so that was for sure highlighted.
Then I wanted him to see :
- Commodity money
- Bank money
- Open-source money
Are all ledgers, so I underlined them to make sure he still saw them. However, the main thing I wanted to stick out was the word LEDGER, so I put it in bold highlight.
Also I’m not a reading coach and don’t know much about ADD, but I feel like when you can break it up and force the eyes to look or re adjust I’m assuming it’s probably helpful.
At its core, money is a LEDGER.
- Commodity money serves as LEDGER govcrned by nature.
- Bank money serves as a LEDGER governed by nation states.
- Open source money serves as a LEDGER governed by users.
Just don’t use a Ledger, hardware wallet, when he starts stacking. ðŸ¤
