Bitcoin requires tons of education, thought, risk mitigation (if you’re looking to save, hodl, “invest” etc).

But there are many, including the Chris Hayes’s of the world, who would like to see risk and management brought outside of the individual and to a benevolent figure/government/system where everyone has everything they need perfectly all the time. See, no need for bitcoin!

But see, that’s not how the world works. Never has and never will. And progressives fall for this trap time and time again. The government is not coming to save you. They are full of lies and deceit. It doesn’t mean we can’t fight for change and good policy at the government level etc. but you cannot bank on this.

With Bitcoin, you bet on the protocol, the global users that continue to grow, and yourself. For some, that’s an uncomfortable thought due to their own anger, insecurities, and wishful thinking of how the world should be.
