information is not a product.
a product designed to execute a financial interaction as the sole focus of a company creates a limited conversation around financial data markets - but not the products
markets which emphasise profit instead of product ultimately collapse because product is manipulated for sale and profit, not usefulness.
consumerism is not capitalism. consumerism is a manufactured demand market which determines sales first, then creates supply for the generated pre-determined product. want versus need.
data is inherently valueless unless something useful is created from it. like a thought: data is inert without creation. none of which is a product. the product is the supply built from the ideas. ai is mismanaged and marketed as a product; a dangerously dehumanising tactic which de-emphasises human capacity and thoughts as commodity; and eventually, commodifies the human identities behind the thoughts. which is where we are now.
