There’s a lot of evidence that basic income support does work to lift people out of poverty. The thing is we don’t have the economic or political system that makes rolling it out universally to be practical.

You may feel that way, but the math simply doesn't work.

Someone has to pay for that (like any entitlement) and then (over time) prices rise to compensate--and you're right back where you started.

It's all "economic propaganda" - people want "free stuff" and if they think they can get it, they'll vote for it...and then we end up with dystopian governments in charge.

Take a course in macro economics...I'm sure it'll be covered.
