River or Strike to buy BTC?

I buy & immediately send to wallet/cold. Don’t need nothing fancy. Strike has worked well for me so far.

Cash app direct deposit works well

Strike has been solid for me. No fees and tiny spread. Not sure how River compares on those

I’ve seen some people say their accounts have been locked in Strike lately. I use River for the no fee auto DCA they offer. I like Strike for the on the go quick buys.

Strike and cash app can do this very simply, especially with direct deposit

Strike uses prime trust which is extremely sus

River is my go to exchange

Yeah, I agree but my speed of buy to transfer out means I care less about that.

Do you know who River is using & why don’t they have the same “issue” of counterparty risk.

#[3] who you use?

Swan and strike use shitcoin company “prime trust”

I think River uses their own built infra instead of Prime Trust. I just don’t know the risk v reward of either setup.

I had strike set up with auto buy and they screwed it up and missed bunch of buys

It was due to a problem with prime trust

Avoid swan and strike until they fix that shitcoinery

I hear you but can’t knock Strike as it’s been good to me. I don’t like autobuys. Too much out of my control. DCA but not on auto. IMO.

Curious too. Have avoided swan and strike because of PT
