FWIW, I have gone down this rabbit hole, and I've found them to make many correct predictions over the last few years.

For me, the main takeaway is that a lot of the stuff we see in the world is really the result of power struggles behind the scenes.

A great book is "A Century of War" by William Engdahl. He has a provocative thesis about the real reasons behind WW1 -- Germany was rising and outproducing England. They were also working on a railroad to Baghdad that would make the British navy obsolete .. So Britain funded separatist elements in Serbia (where the railroad would pass) to sabotage Germany.
