Nothing stops ETH... from falling and failing.
Actuallly nowadays a lot of web3 devs started to find and develop a solution using Nostr as an application layer on top of L1 or L2, such as Mask Network or AO team, and even theres a fork verision of Amethyst you can zap with Monero, so what youre saying is so likely to happen at least.
