I am not for more laws or regulations, but restaurant seed oil disclosures should be required.

Yes, this was a tongue in cheek comment about how much I hate seed oils. Probably did not come out as a great post.

Most people who don’t work in the kitchens in restaurants won’t even know. And they pretty much all use it because it’s cheaper to buy in bulk from their suppliers. Best bet is to ask to speak to the owner or head chef before you get seated.

No doubt about it. I just assume everything is marinated or cooked in seed oils and proceed best I can. I rarely eat out unless traveling, and usually just stick to a steak or a burger as those seem like the least likely to have oil applied to them.

Stop eating at restaurants 🤦
