Wow! That’s awesome that the policies they put in place truly made a difference. And I like that this article mentioned knife violence and recognized how it’s impossible to completely do away with violent attacks because I was wondering about that. Unfortunately people with evil intentions tend to find a way.

I do think that they’re right about there being no middle ground in the US on the issue of gun control. I personally feel that gun control is a slippery slope when put in the hands of the government since they always want more and more control. But I am definitely for better screening! And I do think that some kind of middle ground needs to be found.

I personally believe that the core issue is that people just don’t value human life anymore. I’m not sure where that comes from, but clearly there are lots of people in the world who are okay with killing random, innocent children in an attempt to get revenge, feel powerful, etc. it’s a heartbreaking issue that I’m not sure how to solve. 💔

I agree human life is no longer valued, it could be that their own life is no longer valued the way that it used to. This would carry over to their beliefs and how they live their life.

As you said some people will have evil intentions, but it is not for me to judge. We can only strive to life a good life and hope to be an real example for those that will listen

That’s a good point! People have been used and abused and don’t even value their own lives much less anyone else’s. And yes! I agree! We can live our lives as examples of what we want to see in the world!

It's nice to have a civilized conversation online, thank you
