On a personal level, which is what this post was about, when my pursuit of profit comes into conflict with my other goals and priorities, which are also based on my principles, then it’s time for me to take inventory and decide where I need to make a course correction in my life. Not sure there needs to be an amount attached to it. Making money in itself is not a problem. But if making more money is someone’s highest priority, then they will sacrifice other things important to them to achieve that, be it family, hobbies, health, morals, etc. I’m not trying to define what those other things should be for anyone else.

Makes sense. Like why often times you see it mentioned that rich people became rich because they stood on other people's backs.
