An interesting new wave of inflation...

The grocery store now charges .10¢

per "reusable plastic bag"

at checkout ...or BYOBag

I estimate the grocer was paying about .005¢ per bag.

They have turned that from an operating cost into a net profit of maybe .09¢

This makes too much sense¢ for almost every grocer to eventually not follow trend.
