On Friday the 24th someone posted to the Bitcoin Talk Forum stating that he lost 11 BTC from my Bitcoin Core 25.0 wallet. I can't imagine the emotions you must be going through right now, yet another lesson for everyone to ensure that your security is up to scratch

This is a least a hack ( so there is an explanation). Guy recently lost 27 BTC and doesn't even know why (probably due to the bug in ledger) https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/s/xm7BBuXziX
The scariest part is there were similar cases in the past and they are still not solved
