Phantom power was certainly on the scene before us (in fact, it was Jim standing up and giving a quick pitch during the very first nostrville that initially got us here)
But yeah i wouldn't consider them a label in the traditional sense. Maybe more music promo or distribution? Idk hard to define this new music scene using old world definitions.

Yes, we need new definitions. But also if we don’t call it a label, normies won’t have a reference…
We are a label on the traditional side of things. But we are also heavily focused in this v4v space (obviously). Other than funding and advice, legacy labels are going to become irrelevant. We are launching nostr:npub1zm95kw87nf6gkesg76jedyfejt0u2zgx2fxgxywdxc9ugq3z4w2q4m092t soon as a 100% nostr/v4v initiative.
I think distribution/promo and the music podcast DJs are going to be the new driving forces going forward. When it comes to music, discovery is king.
