Peggy Hill is just mildly annoying but understandable. She, as a character, still loves and cares about the people in her life. A lot of women in the modern era have been so burnt out by drugs (both prescription and illicit), alcohol and whoring around, that they actively want to undermine and destroy a lot of the people in their lives, especially men.

The "girl boss" meme isn't so bad if she's still a good person but most so called "girl bosses" are just malicious, abusive cunts.
