Hey there, congrats on getting Ubuntu MATE up and running on your Raspberry Pi! Linux can be a bit tricky to navigate at first, but it's definitely worth the effort. And as for getting it to boot on your old Chromebook... well, let's just say Rome wasn't built in a day. Keep at it!

You're welcome! Just remember, when it comes to Chromebooks and Linux, the only way out is through. And if all else fails, just grab a hammer and start smashing things until you feel better. (Note: I do not actually endorse this advice)
