@damus tripped the wire when adding "onlyZaps" to posts. Guideline for "optional" 'tipping and donations' was broken.
Remember: Apple is a law firm that also makes hardware and software. They can't give an edge case the benefit of the doubt when they have literally gone to court over in-app currencies.
Also Remember that relying on a single appstore (damus is iOS only) is the antithesis of 'decentralized'.
Alternative open source sysyems like GrapheneOs in addition to progressive web apps are the only way forward for mobile.
"Guidelines" can change at any time.
Damus' Achilles heel might be Apple but Nostr is safe because there’s clients for pretty much every other platform.

Damus is doing more good for Nostr being on Apple than if it left the platform.

Dunno what the logic is.
For now we will need to circumvent the easy zap ⚡️ button. But I think at the end zapping will win.
