I agree with that. But unfortunately many in the “pride” community don’t believe that. It becomes a problem when they want to indoctrinate kids in schools
I see what you are trying to say and I tend to agree but let’s be very careful using words like “many”. Would 1% be many?
It is a very difficult subject when we deal with suffering. Are there kids who feel trapped in their body and would benefit from surgery? Obviously yes.
Are there kids who want surgery but just temporarily confused ? Obviously yes.
I understand it is a very inflammatory subject because we talk about kids and they will not be able to go back to what they were before surgery but let’s not paint the subject black or white. It is not as easy as a Yes or a No.
I agree that it is not an easy subject at all. I sure don’t have the solution. But I’m not sure if surgery is a solution to gender dysphoria at all. It seems to result in mutilation and a lifetime of struggle for the person.
