🇬🇪 💬 #Georgia's ruling party is starting an impeachment process against President Salome #Zurabishvili due to her trip to #Europe.

"Salome Zurabishvili is accused of gross violation of the Constitution of Georgia," the "Georgian Dream" leader Irakli Kobakhidze said at a briefing.

On August, 31 Zurabishvili went to Europe to meet with foreign leaders in support of granting Georgia the status of an EU candidate. The Georgian government officially denied the President this trip.
