Do you prefer in ground pools or above ground pools?

Doesn’t matter as long as the owner is my friend ☺️ but if I had to choose: in-ground
For swimming, in-ground.
For reclaiming that part of the backyard and not having something to maintain the whole year, above ground.
Fair point. My uncle built an above ground into the bank of his backyard because nothing else could have gone there but a pool and a deck.
In ground is better. My family as well as many others have had a hard time keeping up with out of ground.
My mom now has an in ground and it’s very low upkeep.

Tried to orange pill a camp director to heat their camp's new UNDERGROUND olympic pool with bitcoin miners. Got the side eye. For a nonprofit org, it should've been a no-brainer.
Above ground. No ugly fence required. You can sort of build them into the ground and still a lid the zoning requirement of a fence. At least in the US.
