Soooo.... The Wifi in the yard project was a GLORIOUS success! First try, it ran okayish for a bit and then became a stuttery mess. But a few tweaks in DD-WRT and it was playing smooth CLEAR ACROSS THE YARD! I walked as far as I could out back and it was low lag, clear image, smooth sound. I can play my PlayStation 5, via Portal, anywhere behind the house now!
my old router could reach across a massive field, my new one can barely reach the garage 🥲
