You have to take into account the tech companies are already doing this. Then they have our enemies like China and Russia involved. Then you add our own government who in turn is influenced and influences our corporate sector to control the narrative. It is the most dangerous cocktail for democracy ever devised. We will not survive this unless we confront it. Technology must be infused with our principles, or our Republic will perish.
