I've managed to preserve cooked rice for weeks; i immediately deep freeze some of it (after it has cooled down a bit from boiling ofc) in a sealed container and it's perfectly fresh & good even after a month in the freezer.
Part of the trick is to make sure that the rice is still plenty moist when you freeze it but also that you use plenty of olive oil in the water when boiling it. Works for me!
