I'm currently writing a nonfiction because I got stuck on my next novel, which seems good cause as I wrote here on Nostr a few days ago, I think I'm gonna change the order of the bad guys.
But I was feeling drained and like I had nothing else to say the last few days. However, I started by journaling with God, and then I looked in the book and ended up having 7 pages worth of stuff to say, though I'm sure I'll need to do some heavy editing later, but that's for later.
I've usually had a few different projects going at the same time, because while writing my latest novel, I needed some breaks and to do something more visually creative and less world creating creative.
So, I created a pregnancy planner, and translated my first book, before actually finishing that novel.
Well, I did also swap the main character after finishing the first draft so that added to the time it took to write, and the need for breaks! 😅
But, yeah, asking God to speak and then taking some time to write out what I think God who is all good and supportive and awesome is saying to me really helps me get my writing done. I highly recommend it!
