For Twitter you can choose to get a notification for all posts by a specific user who you want to see all of their tweets. It’s useful I you want to get notifications for public service announcements, like fire or storm alerts. Or I guess if you want to really know when somebody who doesn’t post often posts.

This would be a useful feature to have in nostr, and we’ve got lists, so I’m curious if any apps have been using a specific list id for this?

I started creating a "priority" list , a switch where you can turn this on for anybody, and a feed where you only see priority people. But then I got sidetracked into onboarding.

You can change the list used for notifications on Amethyst but we don't help users create such list yet. They have to use listr.lol to assemble their preferred list.

How do you change the list used for notifications in Amethyst? I didn't see anything about it in Settings.

Same way of the other screens, top bar where it says Global or All Follows.

Or coracle ;)

Absolutely, and I would like to see too an option to subscribe to posts too, so have an option to receive notifications every time someone replies in a specific post.

Yes, nostr clients can do that. We need a notification level settings (like the log level when debugging) for each user we are following.

The Chat Friends ‘Private Tag’ is utilized in 0xchat to receive notifications for DMs from friends
