The problem that i usually saw on some communities like Linux or Tech in general is that they're dodging whatever that makes them disgusted or hate to talk about.

Especially when someone talked about it, They decided, "Let's not talk about that." and then deleted your message. The problem here is that you don't know what does that actually mean.

It won't make people stop thinking but rather ended up being more curious, and that's the biggest problem itself.

(need to know about human psychology even further?)

And this is problematic despite these communities are not therapist centre or just discussing one specific topic because the topic is not always just one and could go off sometimes.

Despite of being an denial, You could just say "Yeah. It's a silly story for some reasons, But it got resolved now ;)" and that's better.

This is literally the root problem of every single existing linux communities and other similar ones (especially Fediverse).

And instead of acknowledging it, They cope, Or even see it as a knife put closely to their own neck.

To put it simply, **They're afraid of seeing their own reflection**.

And this thing is not limited to these communities only, Some group like LGBT also has this same very critical problem of being overprotective, trauma bondings, 'optics', and when accountability is being mistake as an 'attack'.

This is not normal, This problem is very critical.

The very effective solution for this problem itself, If according to me: **Reflection**.

They hate it. Really-really hate it that they want to destroy that mirror into pieces. But they must face it.

That's why I like Torvalds.

Solution is to start your own community to discuss on nostr or join any of the aforementioned nostr communities.
