My dad must have strong genes. Bald at an early age. Meanwhile my mother’s father died with a full head of hair, and her brothers and sisters in their old age all have full heads of hair. 😭😭🤣

Baldness genetics is pretty complex and while the X chromosome can be involved, there are many other SNP's across various chromosomes that increase risk. Also you only have a 50% chance of receiving your maternal grandfathers X chromosome

I remember reading that it is possible that 100% of someone’s DNA can be lost after only 5 generations.
