we are moving away from calling it "gossip" in favor of "outbox model". "gossip" means too many things and outbox is a more descriptive name š
make sure you allow users to blacklist relays, relays can be readily used to spy on users and allowing users to not connect to some relays is important

Max per follow? What about max total? Iām afraid for my data if I add even 1 relay for everyone I follow š±
Yep. Planning also a max total setting.
For data optimization the important thing is to cache and not fetch same stuff multiple times.
