Has this conference increased the number of bitcoin holders? The number of nostr users? Lightning adoption? Bitcoin in self custody? Has it changed the temperature of the water in a single swimming pool? Anything?

Or did all anyone get was 3 days of corporate announcements that could have been done with an email to a press outlet?

Looks like all that really matters are the Bitcoiners who got to meet irl for the first time and nobody needs a convention center for that. Might as well have rented a Colorado ranch in a valley. It would have been cheaper.

The only one of these things I’ve been to is BitBlockBoom and THAT was kick ass . . . and the Kerrville Beef Initiative summit which was also kick ass.

I mean, what was ever the value of E3? What's the value of any conference? Most anything can be transmitted via email. You hit the nail on the head: the purpose was networking, community, and of course talks and the like that otherwise would've been hosted on Zoom.
