Since Damus has a big user base, there was a big volume of note zaps so a lot of money transacted. Apple is hungry and wanted their cut. Therefore targeting Damus

What amount of money could nostr:npub1earna05hx6ax38r33h3atmecjzdu547m8suw87w70aw6mlyga4hsqcja5j have possibly offered to get special treatment? I don’t think it works like that.
They pay per zap. A cut of the exchanged zaps. That’s pretty easy to understand I hope.

i think each app can get reviewed by a different employee that understands and follows app store guidelines and policies differently and there's probably not much more to it than that. probably try to get your app reviewed on the weekends vs weekdays
