When I nurture it by keeping the screen on and the app in the foreground, it stays on and records the workout; but when I start it, put it in my pocket, and take it out 90 minutes later, it is all gone. OnePlus likely has aggressive app management or a custom permission that needs enabling too. Can you please look into it? I recreated my walk manually, and I can do that in emergencies, but it would be great if RUNSTR would just stay on. nostr:nevent1qqsfk43qe280lrtw3lyk0eswrz72d9dtqenysfx6j380ugrgn203vpqhgzn87

I had the same trouble on a oneplus phone, you can change it in the settings to be not so aggressive with ram management

Can you please point me to the settings? I only found screen where OnePlus brags about how much memory it freed up by compressing/killing RUNSTR. https://otherstuff.shaving.kiwi/72764d326dbadfb540b1e90d6850218863e4f59d10c912e3b3a0dbee0751f592.webp

In the settings find the app and you can change the background setting to allow always

Yes, that one is enabled.

Trouble is with oneplus is they are always over aggressive with ram management. I used to have so much trouble getting things to stay working in the background

I set up the Debug build and I will try it next time I will go for a walk. Hopefully it will be useful.
