Yes.

You can set up multi sig if you want.

So you don’t have to trust it.

It works fine for what I test it with.

I have a lot left to test.

Run your own node. Run fully noded on your iPhone and now you hava all control over the bitcoin core wallet in your node (and not a third party on your phone). I have been using it for years. It used to be fairly complicated doing the right steps, but this has changed over the years and the developers have made things way easier. Give it a go, dyor, fail and fail again and then succeed and get back with specific questions.
