Is it possible to use bitchat without doxing presice location and if not is everyone cool with that?
Honest question, because much effort was spent educating new users about the need to run a VPN on nostr.

Bitchat doesnt dox your location. You can visit any geohash you like.
Why do we need to use a VPN on Nostr? Your ISP wouldn’t be able to see your private keys even if you don’t use a VPN, because Damus doesn’t collect user data so running a VPN only blocks ISP from seeing that Damus has been accessed, right?

Probably a good idea. But for sure not all VPNs are created equal, in fact some are absolute trash or worse.
