My thoughts on what he said, and what I wish I could say back:

I think you miss something a lot of the times because you are so willfully ignorant about it.

It can come across as really naive and you shut down the convo because you lack intellectual curiosity.

You don’t read macroeconomics well

Everyone doesn’t care and they are worse off for it.

Probably not a great approach
