the serpent thing... it's actually in the bible... the one who tempts eve to eat the fruit is referred to is both a serpent and a bird, and for his deception was cursed to "slither on the ground" but i think actually this is like two sentences or so that actually condense what is also described in other parts and from other old stories, the War in Heaven was the "now you slither on the ground" and off he (Chronos or Lucifer or Satan) goes...
the Atlanteans had a custom of naming celestial bodies as a form of memorial, and the fact they picked Saturn as the one for this guy kinda suggests something because it's interactions with Jupiter (zeus) are key time cycles of the changes in human government, every 400 years they line up extra neat like they did in, i think it was 2020, and become the "bethlehem star"
yeah, that's the thing, the history of the world spans right across this... think of the Australian Aboriginals creation stories... the "Rainbow Serpent" who shapes the world, it is also similar concept to that snake again and then to the north the Norse Jormundangr, and the japanese Enso
I believe this may actually also refer to something else which was a very large meteor that flew at a low angle over the middle east and across north africa and was radiating such intense heat that it created all that desert... there is also many other things you can dig up about how the entire sahara region once had massive rivers and the Eye of the Desert in Mauritania is speculated by some (and i think this is correct) that this is the very capital of Atlantis described by Plato in Critias, it was built on top of an ancient, weathered, very large volcano, and the rings are the product of its many cycles of eruption and different mixes of melted rocks that came out at each eruption
the facts behind all of this stuff are hard to see but the more bits i bump into the more clear it becomes, that's why i am always recommending everyone read The Apocalypse of Yajnavalkya - i don't think he gets it entirely correct in some respects, like, i'm not sure the author really fully understands the gnostic cosmology and wasn't aware of the micronova cycle of the sun caused by the galactic current sheet, but even still, micronovas put out so much material that it seems reasonable that given some time the clouds are going to condense into giant rocks and eventually over a few hundred years or more slam into some or several planets and several to form in this process
And there I was myself thinking that tlaloc is pepe was the real deal mystery of mysteries by now solved by my stumbles.
Right away it mists to me that the serpent of Adam and Eve is also symbol of that *mythical origin* of place (aka space and time). Guilty on the one hand to expel humanity out of Paradise, but at the same time, guilty of granting to humanity access to the *outside* of the enclosed place of God's and that it is the World we nowadays know...
Sounds intriguing that book title, never heard of it, but suspecting now it will be lots and lots of pages 👀
yeah, but it is a really good read, full of so much information
also, what it says in the story was that Adam was invited to this garden, which was basically an agriculture training academy of sorts, it even says as much, in shorter words, in the Book of Jasher where it specifies they spent 7 years there, and i forget how long it was before that thing happened but basically the serpent guy was the ringleader, Apocalypse refers to him mainly as Cronos from the greek version, but that's Saturn and i think the link there should be obvious... also, the big volcano on Tenerife, in the Canary Islands it says that was Tartarus, or the Lake of Fire
i will probably sit down and read it again sometime in the near future, and this time actually follow all the references it makes in the bibliography and maybe get some more books and hard copies... the stories about the "evil sun" and the dragons fighting in the sky and all that all are based on actual stories and they put together multiple connections between those stories and other related stories and the geological record
oh yeah, just to clarify... the first chapter of genesis reads a lot like thet first chapter of Corpus Hermetika, and there are other texts too, i think the Book of Thoth also has a similar story and it's part of the cosmology of gnosticism
