There will be malicious actors. Like the guy who made those ReplyGuy bots. He just wanted to elicit a reaction from y'all for shits n giggles and everybody took the bait.

Good point. Bad actors could also ultimately strengthen the community and make the network more resilient. Like Bitcoin, #nostr is anti-fragile.
We’re lucky to be at an early enough stage in nostr’s existence that there’s room for a lot of tire-kicking without creating a large-scale/societal disruption
