More important, it steals time from your family.
It definitely empowers murderers and sociopaths.
I believe a high GST(Goods and service) and automation tax should be prioritised ✌️

First on my mind - That if the workers use electric drills over screwdrivers, they (or their employer) should be taxed more?
But I'm guessing you meant something smarter?
I'm implying things like a driverless car, a sell serve checkout, large machines that displaced manual labour jobs, factories that are machines building machines that type of scenario. This could raise funds for a UBI(universal basic income) which implemented properly could eradicate poverty and homelessness.
I see... Hard pass for me. I don't think UBI can ever be fair or sustainable. And I think it's pretty anti-civilization to be taxing the technical progress (which makes goods cheaper).
I think the best pro-progress and the most fair policy is to stop taking money from (all) the people in the first place.
If all the government theft stops, then you won't need no UBI with corruptible rulers.
