Seeing a lot of spam in my feeds with the same note from different pub keys.
How can this be prevented? How can I determine which relay is allowing this so I can remove it? #asknostr

I can only fight it on my relay, which I've blocked atm. it may still appear on other relays, so yes phrase muting is the best option.
we will be making changes to the way hashtag follows works to make it harder to execute this kind of spam
Look if the note is assigned to one of your hashtag follows.
If the note has a quite uncommon word in it, you can filter by word (depending on your client possibilities). If not, you just have the possibility to unfollow the hashtag. 😐
