Well, in a sense everything that runs on the internet is "social" because the internet is "just" a network of communication networks.

That’s kind of what I’m getting at. Nearly everything people do online these days is social in nature, involving or facilitating interactions of some type with other people for personal, business, educational, etc., purposes.
