always upsets me that my grandpa’s history of being the mayor of Isfahan before the revolution was completely erased by the regime.
i cling to the stories of him from family, i cling to the two photos i have of i him. I never got to meet him, i wish i could have.

It's a crime that Iran is still under the boot of that backwards fundamentalist regime. The people of Iran know they were once great and how far they've fallen, it's very sad.
I'm sorry you never got to meet him, I'm sure he was a great man and good on you for keeping his memory alive.
