Almost every esoteric (not “orthodox” but esoteric) spiritual tradition has a teaching within it about the need for people to “speak their story” to the world.
It’s something that doesn’t apply really until the age of 40, and whether the story is spoken alone or within a trusted group, the need to speak it out loud is absolute. But the greater importance is the personal preparation to reveal our story.
It can’t be an “autobiography” which is just ego and a fiction of ourselves.
It has to be real, authentic.
I’ve experienced a number of these moments - including myself - and they are life-changing. But they should almost never happen in happenstance. It needs to be something appropriately prepared for. nostr:note1c0qrt067sh8nruuwvjth09xcyz3vqxcqzhy9rwc9a9f5hj2maqfsr8etvc
