Poll: What will happen?
a) Tariffs stay in place for real. Stocks collapse 50%+, USD falls off a cliff, Bubble pop, Global Depression
b) Tariffs stay in place, but it's not as bad as the market thinks. Society shrugs off stocks, and in 4 years there's factories in the US
c) Trump & Xi reach a trade deal. Tariffs go off
d) White House calls it off. Can't take the pain
Near-term, somewhere between C) and D). B) will never happen. A) will eventually happen, with or without tariffs.

No joke. I'm braced for impact. Been watching this trainwreck for about 20 years and it certainly feels close.
