How does inbound work? person who opens channel gives liquidity to the other end?

Struggling to understand channels 😫 if someone opened a channel with you like youve asked but they don't have other channels... would that be pointless?

Yes. Having 2 channels is pretty much a minimum so sats can come in one channel and out the other.
