Everyone who has chickens at home is obliged to register the birds, regardless of their use. In particular, “the owners of self-consumption farms will be obliged to make a prior notification to be included in the general register of livestock farms.” However, unlike large farms, self-consumption farms do not need prior authorization to be set up. The register, however, may vary according to the autonomous community. In Madrid, for example, farms with no more than 30 laying hens do not have to register.

But, i agree, it is a little too much paper and declaration for self-consumption only.

The animals need to be registered. Neverthless, it makes no sense. Totalitarianism under way.

This is Real Decreto 637/2021, meant for sanity control of farm animals and provide a complete check on the productive chain, complete stupidity for people who just want to eat the eggs themselves, they even ask for you to register at the Registro General de Explotaciones Ganaderas if you have the chickens and eat the eggs yourself. Burocracy for burocracy, have to keep feeding the fat burocrats somehow.

People recently had to register their chickens in the UK too. The Globalists really are coming after the food supply as they take over the planet...
