Your WTF economic statistic for today:

In Germany, a single with a net-income of €6000, and couples with a net-income of €10790, are considered upperclass, by income.

Merely €4560/month of net-income puts a single in the top 5%, which is upper-middle-class (UMC).

Some months ago it was piblished a similar statistic in Spain. I think it was people earning 2k net a month was upperclass...

Germany be like

"rich people"

Singles take a factor of 1,0.

Couples are 1,5 and a couple with 2 children under 14 years old, take 2,1.

So, a couple would be top 5% at only €6840 net/month.

As a young person u should try everything to leave this dystopia.

🤣😅

Seeing German income tax rates leave me like...

Yeah, I'm in the tax class 5, which is just bizarre. They deduct more than half, before I even see it.

We Americans are so spoiled. Constantly complaining about 11-13%😅.

Well.

If you:

1. Eat once a day

2. Laundry twice a month

3. Duct tape and cardboard box expenses can be thrifty for lodging

4. Bathe in a creek

5. Do not have any dependent whatsoever. Like not even a mouse (who might steal your one meal a day).

I can see it.
