My hyper-obsession with bitcoin has gotten me to a point where I feel as though there is nothing left to learn. And I'm talking specifically about Bitcoin the protocol.

Obviously there is so much built atop bitcoin that there are always endless things to learn about. But bitcoin itself is really just an indestructible clock.

At first, we are enamored by its properties. I couldn't watch enough videos or read enough papers. This thing just blows your mind for like 2 years.

And then you get to a point where it's so obvious and beautifully simple that you wonder why we bother with anything else at all.

The honeymoon phase eventually comes to an end.
