“The worship of the state is the worship of force. There is no more dangerous menace to civilization than a government of incompetent, corrupt, or vile men. The worst evils which mankind ever had to endure were inflicted by bad governments.”

— Ludwig von Mises

yes, brother. the consideration of any rule must begin and end with the method of enforcement. the state is so invested in its own authority that to protect it, it will use as much violence as necessary to enforce its rules. for every law, we must ask ourselves: does breaking this rule justify violence?

It’s actually not the governments, it’s the people that go along with it and even fight with the government that are the most dangerous. “The useful idiots”. There is also the other side of the coin where good people know something is wrong, and refuse to say or do anything. There is a small amount of people the responsibility of fighting for freedom is burdened to.. honesty, honor and courage are rare.
