I tried the first two of Lynch (eraserhead and elephant man). I couldn’t get past 20mins.
It’s funny, I think you get a glimpse of old Lynch in the 2nd/more recent Twin Peaks, where there is this long, extraneous, boring part. But it’s art. So you gotta experience it.
In the early days, I think he tried to give experience and failed, it was just long and drawn out.
Looking forward to that. Only saw parts of twin peaks
