I just watched JerryRigEverything’s video on it (https://youtu.be/H1UJ5k3yMvA) and while I agree that Google is up to shady practices, there’s not much a company like Fairphone can do except leave open the option for us to reflash ROMs. The reparability far outweighs the surveillance for me personally.
