The EU has declared coffee "harmful" to humans in a new regulation banning the use of caffeine as a pesticide.
The report states that caffeine, a key component of coffee, can have adverse effects on the heart, hydration, and body temperature, as well as trigger anxiety and sleep disorders.
The report was issued to support the decision to ban caffeine as a method to kill snails and slugs in cabbage and potato crops.
