Interesting conversation from the mandibles:

“In theory, stocks entail owning real things. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account that most of those stocks are denominated in dollars. And I’ve been as vulnerable as the next idiot to the bias that keeping the majority of your funds in American companies is erring on the safe side. So I do apologize. Had I any idea what was in the offing, I’d have diversified quite differently.”

If/when the dollar hyper inflates, what would your stock be worth? Do you really think Fidelity or Robinhood will allow you to sell your stocks for gold or #Bitcoin?

If your Bitcoin is in self custody. You don't need to sell your bitcoin. You can just spend your Bitcoin.

Oh i know that. I’m just wondering what’s going to happen to the rest of the society that will not see this shit coming.

It's gonna be wild on the weekends for that etf hahhahaa and ya i get that too

Such a great book.

Why wouldn’t companies producing actual goods just get repriced in Bitcoin? If your business is producing more capital than it’s using, currency denomination is irrelevant. Plenty of countries hyperinflate their currencies and the equity in productive companies doesn’t just go to zero.
